CONCEPT - IRRADIANCE

1. PHYSICS - the flux of radiant energy per unit area (normal to the direction of flow of radiant energy through a medium).
2. LITERARY - the fact of shining brightly.
The concept of irradiance stems from the brand’s aim at empowering women. This space is meant to make them feel invited, valued, powerful, and accepted. It is a safe space for them to radiate their energy.

 

Billie is a body brand that was launched in 2017 by Georgina Gooley and Jason Bravman. The idea stemmed from the “pink tax.” It meant that women’s razors were 10-15% more expensive than men’s. Initially, they only sold razors but now they’ve expanded to face wipes, body wash, lip balm, dry shampoo, and more.
